Franklin University Switzerland is accredited in both the United States and Switzerland.
That means that your degree is truly international, with automatic validity in two countries, and that you have an advantage to pursuing an international career or furthering your study in the US or Switzerland. The doors opened by a Franklin education go far beyond these two countries, though, and most countries in the world will grant equivalence to a Franklin degree if you have your sights set elsewhere.

On March 10, 2021, Heather Perfetti, President of MSCHE, reaffirmed Franklin's accreditation for the next eight-year cycle. The update in our status has been made to the MSCHE website.

Franklin University Switzerland has been accredited as University Institute until December 17, 2028. While the accreditation is effective from 2021, the final decision and communication confirming this status was made by the Swiss Accreditation Council in 2023. This accreditation better reflects our nature as a Liberal arts university and gives us the freedom to craft our Academic offering.
Recognition in China
In 2018, Franklin was recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education 中华人民共和国教育部 as an accredited foreign university. This recognition not only allows students coming from China to have an international experience at Franklin and earn a degree that is recognized at home, but it also opens doors for any Franklin graduate considering a career in China.
