Academic Travel is at the center of the kind of international education that Franklin’s founders envisioned, and the program has been part of the curriculum since the University opened its doors in 1969. Students travel every semester as part of an overall learning experience, extending their study of a particular topic to its geographical origin to witness first-hand what they have studied in the classroom.
