Outdoor Rock Climbing Course (Session 1 of 2)

The Office of Student Life is offering a two-session introductory course about outdoor rock climbing at nearby climbing spots. The course is geared toward beginners who don't have experience with climbing and rope manipulation. The main objective is to provide the basic concepts of climbing technique and to learn the correct handling of climbing ropes to ensure safety. The course includes a limited number of participants for a maximum ratio of four participants per instructor. Students may sign up with a non-refundable CHF 20 deposit at the OSL Front Desk by 20:00 on April 22. This activity takes place in Vezia, Maccagno in Italy. All participants should bring their passports and permits, as we will cross an international border. The group will meet at Airone at 14:00 the day of the course session.
