Each year, the Office of Student Life offers a trip for students to visit the French-speaking part of Switzerland for a weekend! We’ll take a bus to Lausanne and stay in a hostel for two nights, using it as our base. We will visit:
- Chateau de Chillon (self-guided tour, audioguide included)
- Lausanne (this will include free time in the city)
- A guided walking tour of the old part of Geneva
- International Olympics Museum
- Gruyeres (this will include free time in the village)
- Maison Cailler for a guided tour of the factory
Spaces are open exclusively to new students between noon on 22 August until 19:00 on 1 September, and remaining spaces will be available for returning students until 09:00 on Wednesday, 7 September. The final itinerary will be sent via e-mail to all participants by the end of that week. Please sign up with a CHF 180 deposit at the OSL Front Desk. The deposit is non-refundable after 09:00 on Wednesday, 7 September. Participants will meet at 17:30 in the Falcon’s Nest on 12 September for a quick meeting.
