Dimitri Patrizi, Italian, is a television director/writer/producer, storytelling consultant, and teacher.
After graduating from high school with a classical education, he graduated in Law, with a dissertation about the relationship between hybris and iniuria in the sources of Roman law, and then specialized in Communication Analysis and Management at the Catholic University of Milan, with a dissertation about adapting Shakespeare’s MacBeth for TV. He finally earned a master's degree in Modern Literature and Performing Arts with full marks and honors from the State University of Milan. His dissertation was about the 1953-1958 RAI television adaptations of Shakespeare's plays.

He earned the Master of Arts in Promotion and Teaching of Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners (Promoitals) from the State University of Milan, with a 200-hour internship at the University of Milan's Language Center SLAM.

He is a member of the Italian Writers’ Guild, SIAE, DOR section.

At Franklin University Switzerland he is an adjunct lecturer of Italian.

Professional Experience:

Currently, he works as a Director and Documentary Filmmaker for the Italian National Broadcasting Company, RAI.

Founded and leading the Compagnia dell’Elleboro (former “del Saramita”), focused on creating original theatrical performances based on stories and repertoires of Northern Italy’s local devotion and tradition.

Wrote and produced “I WILL”, a cultural dissemination program for children on Shakespeare's theater for the Bonsai TV WebTV.

Currently stage/TV/film actor.

Dramaturg for the Compagnia Teatrale Puntozero for shows staged by inmates of the Beccaria Juvenile Prison in Milan.

Assistant Director to Ermanno Olmi (Il Mestiere delle Armi) and Marco Bellocchio.

Former Media Projects Manager of the Chair of History of Philosophy, held by Prof. Davide Bigalli of the State University of Milan.
