PROFILE:

I am originally from Michigan, and after having fun with my own college search process, I ended up at the University of South Carolina where I earned my undergraduate degree in International Business and Finance. While in college, I had the opportunity to get involved in many different ways, from serving as a campus tour guide to studying abroad in Spain.

After graduating, I returned to Spain to work as an English Teaching Assistant. Living, studying, and working abroad strengthened my appreciation for cross-cultural learning, connecting with people from different backgrounds, and the value of stepping outside of your comfort zone. These experiences also played an important role in shaping my interest in international education.

When I returned to the United States, I began my career in higher education admissions and most recently worked at the University of Michigan. Through my work in admissions, I have enjoyed helping students and families navigate the college search process, building relationships with school counselors, and traveling to meet prospective students in their own communities.

I am excited to join Franklin and bring together two things that have been especially meaningful throughout my life: higher education and international experiences. I believe studying and traveling abroad can challenge students to see the world from new perspectives, and I look forward to helping students explore the opportunities that a global education can provide.

Outside of work, I love traveling and experiencing new places, cultures, and foods. I have visited more than 25 countries so far and am always looking forward to the next adventure. I am also a big sports fan and enjoy going to as many different games as I can!
