Official transcripts can be ordered through the Office of the Registrar. Current students can submit a request either through their password-protected Self-Service account or by using the Transcript Request form. Alumni and former students must use the Transcript Request form. The form can be completed online, but the student's signature is required. Transcripts will not be released if the student has an outstanding financial obligation to the University.

Transcript Delivery Options

Electronic Format (secure PDF)  

Franklin delivers official transcripts electronically via a secure PDF system called eScrip-Safe. The recipient will be asked to complete a simple login process to access the transcript. To request an electronic transcript, complete the Transcript Request form, as above.

Please note: A transcript delivered electronically directly to a student is unofficial, and has an “Issued to Student” watermark. Therefore it cannot be sent on to another college or university as an official transcript. 

Paper Format by Regular Mail

There is no charge for transcripts sent by regular mail. Delivery time varies depending on the address to which they are being sent.

Paper Format by Express Mail (Swisspost TNT)

There is a charge of 60 CHF/60 USD for transcript delivery by express mail. Payment can be made online from Accounting and Finance in the Tuition and Fees payment section. Paper Format for pick-up by the student

Once the transcript has been requested, it is usually available to be picked up from the Office of the Registrar the next day.
