Some moments defy words. And yet, every year, Franklin’s Awards Ceremony and Graduating Students Celebration creates one of them.
A few days before the grand finale - Graduation and Commencement 2025 - we gather in the Nielsen Auditorium, but it’s not just to give out awards. It’s to share the heartbeat of what it means to be a part of this extraordinary place. It’s not about the certificates or the applause (though both are well-deserved). It’s about a moment of connection, where the air itself feels like it carries the weight of all our shared experiences, struggles, and triumphs.
We celebrate achievements in leadership, academics, service, and spirit. But we also celebrate the unsung moments: the late-night study sessions, the quiet encouragement from a mentor, the awkward laughter shared between classmates, the sense that, even in our hardest times, we are never alone.
As the room fills with cheers, it’s a celebration of the community we’ve built. The support we offer. The growth we’ve shared. It’s where we cheer each other on because at Franklin, we are invested in each other - not just in our achievements, but in the personal journeys that led us here.
Each handshake, each smile, each "well done" has an echo: an echo of the advice, the conversations, the encouragement, and the inspiration that have crossed our paths throughout the year. The real award is being here together, in this beautiful auditorium, filled with the promise that we’ve all contributed something meaningful to this place.
In that room, every smile is a trophy. Every tear a testament. And every round of applause a reminder that we’ve made it, together. We are Franklin.
