Franklin University Switzerland has been named to the 2025 Transfer Honor Roll by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the first honor society recognizing academic excellence among students at associate degree-granting colleges. Franklin is the only international university on this year’s list.
This recognition shines a spotlight on Franklin’s ongoing commitment to supporting transfer students as they make the leap from community colleges to completing their bachelor's degrees. The Transfer Honor Roll is based on 40 key metrics, including affordability, transfer credit policies, campus life, and student outcomes. Rankings are determined using data from the National Student Clearinghouse and PTK Connect, a college and career planning platform.
This recognition reflects Franklin’s belief in opening doors—and walking alongside students every step of the way. From transparent admissions processes to meaningful credit transfers and personalized academic advising, Franklin is proud to provide a clear and supportive path to success.
This is a testament to the collaborative efforts of Franklin’s Admissions and Registrar’s leadership, whose work behind the scenes ensures a smooth and welcoming transition for every transfer student. Their dedication to student-centered processes, academic clarity, and cross-departmental teamwork played a vital role in reaching this milestone.
Founded to celebrate and elevate student achievement, Phi Theta Kappa today includes over 4.4 million members and nearly 1,250 chapters across 11 countries. The Society continues to help students grow as scholars and leaders. Learn more at ptk.org.
