On Thursday, March 3, Franklin University Switzerland will participate in the sold-out event “Lugano Plan B” at the Palazzo dei Congressi in downtown Lugano. Already an established financial and crypto center, Plan B wants to transform Lugano into the European capital of crypto. Organized by the City of Lugano and Tether, a blockchain-enabled platform designed to facilitate the use of fiat currencies in a digital manner, the event will host many distinguished guests, including the Lugano mayor, Michele Foletti, and the Tether’s Chief Technical Officer, Paolo Ardoino.

Although Plan B mainly revolves around issues of revolutionary digital technologies for the financial sector, surrounding topics of discussion will also be management, business, digital transformation and more. This is where Franklin comes in, shaping future entrepreneurs and business leaders and instilling academic knowledge and skills to pursue global career opportunities in many sectors. Offering undergraduate majors in Finance, International Economics, International Management, and a Master of Science in International Management degree with a specialization in Digital Transformation, Franklin transfers the necessary concepts and tools to succeed in today’s highly globalized and technological world, especially since technology is constantly changing the world with Bitcoin, stablecoins and other revolutionary digital advancements.

Details on the Lugano Plan B will officially be unveiled through a livestream press conference at 5 p.m. on Thursday, while a Franklin stand will be set up in the main hall and available to all participants interested in knowing more about our academic offer and programs.
