Reconnect with fellow alumni and explore the cultural and academic richness of Ticino. This three-day program blends faculty-led learning with thoughtfully designed excursions that highlight the region’s history, landscapes, and traditions. The program is limited to 25 participants and will run with a minimum of 15 participants.
Program Highlights
Welcome Brunch & Introductions
Begin with a relaxed welcome brunch at Kaletsch Campus, followed by Italian 101 at the McNeely Center of Ideas & Imagination — a light introduction to local language and expressions that will enrich your time in Ticino.
Vico Morcote Wine Experience
Travel by boat to Morcote and visit Castello di Morcote for a guided vineyard and cellar tour, followed by a tasting paired with local foods.
Bellinzona Castles
Enjoy lunch in Bellinzona’s historic center before visiting the UNESCO-listed medieval castles. A guided tour highlights architectural features, strategic importance, and Ticino’s cultural heritage.
Monte Generoso Adventure
Ascend Monte Generoso for panoramic views across Switzerland and Italy. Includes a faculty-led Swiss history session and time to explore Fiore di Pietra, the mountaintop structure designed by Mario Botta, followed by a relaxed summit lunch.
