How organizations communicate during a crisis can determine not only their reputation, but their very survival. This lecture and interactive workshop aims at creating a clear understanding of risk, emergency and crisis, and explores the principles, strategies, and ethical challenges of crisis communication in contemporary public relations. The workshop component will invite students to reflect on all of these aspects and understand the challenges communication professionals face today when dealing with uncertainty.
