Adjunct Lecturer of Modern Languages (French)
Email: lrohrenbach@fus.edu
I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Languages and Literatures from the University of Fribourg, as well as a teaching diploma for upper secondary education (DEEM). Since 2017, I have been engaged in academic teaching at both secondary schools and universities, gaining solid expertise in designing and delivering courses, coordinating projects, and collaborating with cultural and institutional stakeholders.
My professional path has strengthened my skills in project management, the drafting of official documents, the organization of complex activities, and intercultural communication. I have also been actively involved in language promotion initiatives in Switzerland and, since 2023, I have been teaching French literature at Franklin University. In addition, I have directed several publications and translated two books, which has further enriched my academic and cultural background.
Teaching is at the core of my professional identity. I see education as a dynamic exchange that encourages critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and independent learning. My pedagogical approach is student-centered: I aim to foster a collaborative learning environment that balances academic rigor with creativity and dialogue, enabling students to connect literary knowledge with broader cultural and social perspectives.
