Rebecca has over 30 years of experience as an educator. She has taught students of all ages from Pre-School to University and Adult Continuing Education. She has developed Centers for Teaching and Learning at two institutions of higher education in the United States. Her passion is to create cultures of life-long learning and continuous improvement. She enjoys working closely with faculty and administrators to design and redesign curriculum and to support faculty from orientation to promotion and tenure.
In addition to traditional education, Rebecca has also used her understanding of human development and learning to create programs and lead non-profit organizations providing wrap-around services and support to people experiencing homelessness, employment insecurity, and substance abuse illness.
She brings to Franklin a combination of sound pedagogy and trauma-informed practices that support personal and professional transformation.
