Have you ever visited the museum with the beautiful view of the lake? Then join OMs Sofia and Martina on a tour of the LAC / MASI Museum, that is currently offering a wonderful exhibition: “FROM ALBRECHT DÜRER TO ANDY WARHOL. MASTERPIECES FROM THE GRAPHISCHE SAMMLUNG ETH ZÜRICH” Boasting more than 160,000 works dating from the fifteenth century to the present day, the Graphische Sammlung ETH Zürich is one of the most important collections of prints and drawings in Switzerland.

The exhibition in MASI explores the key groups of works in the collection, presented together for the first time, including masterpieces by artists such as Albrecht Dürer, Lucas van Leyden, Elisabetta Sirani, Hendrik Goltzius, Rembrandt van Rijn, Maria Sibylla Merian, Francisco de Goya, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Käthe Kollwitz, Louise Bourgeois, Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch, Miriam Cahn, Andy Warhol and many more. As well as taking a fascinating tour of six centuries of art history, the exhibition offers an overview of the various engraving and drawing techniques that have been used and perfected by artists over the years.

We will leave campus around 10:45 and walk for 10-15 minutes to the museum. There is a sign up of 16CHF. The price covers the ticket. Attendees are expected to leave from campus with the group. For any questions email chiusano603@student.fus.edu
