The Division of Arts and Cultures (DAC) is once again partnering with OtherMovie Lugano Film Festival to bring a special film screening to Franklin.

Through a diverse selection of films, the festival highlights personal and collective memories, lost testimonies, and forgotten events while also investigating manipulated memories and speculative futures shaped by distorted recollections. The theme extends to artificial intelligence, emphasizing the role of vast memory and rapid processing in technological progress, raising questions about coherence and potential manipulation. Ultimately, the festival invites reflection on how history informs identity and helps prevent past mistakes from recurring.
