Thanks to the generosity and participation of our strong Franklin community, we are very pleased to announce our most successful Day of Giving to date with $104,649 raised to support the mental health and well-being of our students!

The FUS Office of Advancement held its annual #OneDayOnePurpose Day of Giving on April 19, the same day that we celebrated University Day. As we discovered through our internal data and was remarked by the President and the Dean of Student Life and Engagement at the Board of Trustees Meeting in New York, in February 2023, one of our new development priorities and advancement actions will prioritize Franklin students’ mental health by raising funds to provide enhanced resources and support so they can continue to thrive in mind, body, and spirit.

This year we held a round table at the Falcon's Nest, to connect with our students and identify the mental health and wellness initiatives they believe will have a positive impact on their experience. Additional contributions were made by Senior Advisor and Dean of Student Life and Engagement, Deborah Knaust; Associate Dean of Student Life, Russell Martin; University Counselor and Accessibility Coordinator, Corbin Moro; and Advancement Associate, Kristen Bodammer. Thanks to FUS Business Officer Leslie Tedoldi and Vice President for Finance and Administration Tomaso Rizzi, whose wonderful plan to create a Wellness and Mental Health awareness campaign at Franklin this year led to developing this initiative. The expertise and dedication of all to this important topic made the day a resounding success.

If you would like to support our students’ well-being and mental health, it's not too late to make a gift! Please contact Associate Director of Advancement, Diana Tedoldi for details or visit the FUS Day of Giving campaign website to make a gift online.
