Profile:

Corinne B. Young is the Director of the Master of Science in International Management (MSIM)  at Franklin University Switzerland where she is Professor of International Management.  With over 25 years of experience in management education, she brings an entrepreneurial spirit to Franklin’s graduate programs by involving community leaders and business professionals with highly qualified faculty to offer a unique program of study to students interested in becoming responsible global leaders and managers.

In the recent past, Dr. Young was the Visiting Global Presidential Scholar at Husson University in Bangor, Maine were she led the task force that worked with university stakeholders to develop a comprehensive internationalization plan.  She led a cross-college faculty team in the development of a BA program in Global Studies at the Saint Leo University School of Business and was Director of the Center for Social Medicine and Global Health Equity in the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami.  She was the Director of the Center for Leadership Development at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College; Director of Marketing and Corporate Relations for the Graduate School of Business at Florida International University; directed the Office of International Programs, the Center for Leadership, the Institute for World Commerce Education, and served as Associate Dean of the College of Business at University of Tampa where she was a tenured faculty member.

Research Interests:

Dr. Young’s current research interests include Innovation in Graduate Management Education, Leadership Development, and Spirituality in Management.  She has earned certificates in International Negotiations, Board Leadership, Strategic Marketing, Executive Coaching and Leadership from several graduate schools including Harvard and Villanova universities.

Awards & Honors:

Dr. Young has always been actively involved in the community and has been recognized on numerous occasions for her outstanding teaching and community service.

She has chaired various organizations including the Tampa Bay International Business Council.  She has served on the Florida Governor's Council of Economic Advisors, as the Governor’s Appointee of the Center for International Business Education and Research at the University of Florida, and as a founding board member of the Organization of Women in International Trade Tampa Bay.
