The Office of Marketing helps to define, build, sustain and protect Franklin University Switzerland’s reputation among our many internal and external stakeholders, and to increase awareness with important audiences. Marketing’s responsibilities are diverse and include branding, media relations, online reputation, digital media management, marketing communications, campaign management and advertising activities. The office also works in partnership with other areas to provide a range of marketing services to departments and offices throughout the University.

Consistent definition and application of Franklin University Switzerland branding elements – the institutional colors, typefaces, logo, crests and other unique identifying elements – helps to establish a strong, substantial and distinctive identity for the University, wherever and whenever communication and marketing materials are seen. Consistent application of the University's branding elements will ensure that all communication and marketing materials, including letters and leaflets, posters, banners and brochures, reinforce Franklin’s brand and reputation for excellence.

The Office of Marketing partners with the University community to create publications, media and other assets that effectively engage and inform the Franklin stakeholders, and that promote FUS as a place of excellence. Marketing defines and coordinates production of these media through designers, photographers and other external professionals to deliver the most appropriate presentation for each specific message needed, and supports the production process by working closely with printers and other suppliers. Guidance about deploying the University brand is available to faculty and staff along with approved color palettes and typography for use in University publications and other marketing materials. University-branded templates are available for download by faculty and staff.

The Office of Marketing manages Franklin's relationships with online, print and broadcast media services, with the objective to promote Franklin staff and programs, demonstrate expertise and excellence, and to assist journalists and stakeholders who seek information about the University or members of the campus community.

The Office of Marketing manages the content, design, architecture, development and implementation of technologies that make up the University website. Marketing collaborates with internal staff and external consultants to ensure the site's visibility, the delivery of up-to-date information and the effective use of web technologies for communication and interaction with internal and external audiences.

Social Media

Social media content is produced by the Office of Marketing in collaboration with students, faculty and staff to provide information about students, alumni, University achievements and University events on several social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

Photos and Videos

The Office of Marketing produces photographic images and videos of the University, both for general use and for specific requests that are aligned with the University's mission and interests. All assignments completed by University-contracted photographers and videographers become part of a media archive and may be provided to Franklin departments for editorial or educational use upon request.

Please note: anyone wishing to take photographs or shoot video on the Franklin campuses that will be provided to a public audience on any platform for any reason must have prior written permission from the University administration.  For more information, please contact the This email address is being protected from spambots.
